Learning to Play the guitar.!?

Question

I am going to play the guitar...is it easy to learn to play? I already play piano...do you have to learn different notes and stuff or is is the same?

i played keyboard b4 i started guitar. You can use keybored books to play guitare as long as you now the fingering on the guitar. the notes arent diff, you just need to play them on the guitar...duh :) , or u can learn it the normal way and learn from actual guitar sheet music that is meant for the guitar, kinda confusing but if u wanna do either way it doesnt really matter...

Guitar is one of the easiest instruments to be "good" at, one of the hardest to master... Piano will help as you will know how to read music. yes notes on a guitar are the same as piano, except they are not played the same.

They are both C based instruments so the notes are the same. However, they're set up way differently. You should be able to start playing easy songs made up of easy chords pretty quickly. So the basics aren't too bad. It can always get more and more difficult though, as with any instrument.

For beginner lessons, chords, etc. Also you will probably want to learn how to read guitar tablature, even though I'm assuming you can read music. Reading music is always a plus, but tabs dominate when it comes to learning songs on guitar. For tabs of whatever you want I'd recommend going to

its more or less the same thing.

yes guitar or all string istris are difficult dan a nrml piano but the basics are da same in every instrment .

the guitar is a really easy instrument to be completely mediocre at. after a few months, you start sounding fine. the piano and the guitar are both in the same key. the notes are all the same.
