  1. About which part?

    Shifting a Manual?

    Turning?

    Going Straight?

    Stopping?

    Other cars around?

About parents yelling at you as you scare the c**p out of them?

    Need to know more please

  2. Think, think, and think some more.  Practice as much as possible.  Find someone that will work with you and help you to understand the thinking that goes into driving.  Smooth driving is safe driving.  There is a lot of responsibility that goes into the operation of a car.  When you drive be thinking "What If......."  This is what my Dad taught me many years ago and I still practice to this day.

    Good Luck.

  3. Very stupid people learn to drive and get a license.  If they can do it, you will be an expert.  It just takes practice.

  4. If you mean you're about to have your first lesson then all I can say is that it's not as bad as it feels like it's going to be. I was absolutely terrified before I had my first lesson  but instructors are used to it and they will pretty much always let you go at your own pace and not rush you into doing anything before they feel you're ready.

  5. practice in parking lots.

make sure you take drivers ed.

  6. Close your eyes and think on happy thoughts..!

    :-)))))

  7. Of course you are nervous!  You are learning a new skill in an enviroment where users of that skill come in all shapes and sizes, and various levels of that skill.

Trust your instructor to teach you what is necessary, and as you practice that, your confidence will grow.

    Badco.

  8. Take each lesson one careful step at a time. Make sure your instructor is taking you somewhere quiet to learn, and do not move on to the next stage until you feel you have mastered the previous. Do not allow yourself to be pushed - you are in charge of your learning pace.

Take deep breaths and look well ahead to give yourself time.

You can learn in an automatic - many many learners are finding this is the best way through these days.

  9. Take a Driving school course and Practice somewhere not in the open where your Nervs will not be an Issue/.

  10. take a deep breath.

You will not pass your test with nerves.

    You CAN do it.

  11. Practise makes perfect. You'll be fine with time.

All it takes is confidence - you can be the smartest person in the world, and it still won't help. I have a friend who is a medical student, and is the cleverest person I know, yet he has failed his test 4 times!!

Make sure you keep taking the lessons, with a driving instructor you like and trust.

    Best wishes.
