Learning to play metal bass guitar?

Question

I'm a bassists I've been playing (taking lessons) for about a year and a half. At my skill level what are some good ways (websites, books, videos, etc.) to learn how to play Thrash Metal or Hardcore music on a bass? I'm really not looking to spend any money online, but I'd buy a book or a video.

Download Guitar Pro 5.2  You cant get it free by downloading it from a bittorrent site.(torrentz.com) You will need a bittorrent client like Utorrent which is also free.ohh yea, make sure when search for GP5, that you get torrent with a keygen, so you have unlimited access to the software. Then search for songs here www.ultimate-guitar.com It is freakin awesome. I play death metal and grindcore and this is an awesome tool.

Start by playing your favorites then you can develop your own sound. Good Luck

Youtube videos can help alot!

But if you want a more in depth... go to your local music store and look for books entitled things like "Teach Yourself Metal Bass."... I saw that at my local music store they had that one.
