  1. Minimum and passed first time.

  2. I had about 25 lessons (hours) over 7 months and passed first time.

  3. i went for an ID card and the lady handed me my test.passed first time without touching the book.i couldnt believe it.

  4. Millions! haha I started in March 2004 once or twice per week (twice per week at least in the last 4 weeks or so), and passed first time (UK test) in Dec 2004. My mum did hers in Chile and had about a week of lessons or something and passed! That's why I don't drive in Chile lol

  5. Hi,  I passed after 40 hours - the national average is 50-60 hours.  The DSA Suggests that it takes someone 2hrs for every year of their life to pass.  e.g,  40 years, 80 hrs.  Suggesting the older you are the longer it takes, which is probably right - however everyone is different.

Make sure you have at least 1 2hour lesson of professional tuition per week - any private practise is also recommended to learn the "fundamentals" of driving - I didn't have this luxury, so don't worry if you don't have anyone to take you out, outside your lessons.

Make sure you get your theory test booked asap,  the sooner you pass , the sooner you can book your driving test.  your instructor should be able to anticipate how much progress your making.

A HUGE GOOD LUCK - Take care!
