Leather protectant ?!!?

Question

i can't seem to find a water based leather protectant specifically for bags....is it ok to use the ones for car interiors?

and also do i apply the protectant just once or do i keep applying it over time?

We use Dubbin. You need to apply it every so often.

Try these people they are leather consultants and very helpful and knowledgeable on leather.  All their care products are water based and have been specifically tested.

I have not done this myself but I was told by a friend some time ago that they use the same leather protectant for there car and there furniture.
