Leather sandals!?

I bought a pair of Clark's sandals as they last a long time but even though i bathe every night and wash my feet in the morning, i'm left with a black foot inprint inside the sandal. What's the best way to clean the inside without ruining the material. Thankyou.

  1. You could try some baby oil on cotton wool and gentle wipe the inside of the sole, but to be honest, the marks are from the natural sweat of your feet, and it's this that contours the shoe to your own personal fitment, so I'd leave it, and enjoy the comfort, after all there's only you that's going to wear them, right ?

  2. The only time that should be a problem is if it smells or you have to take your sandals off. I love Clark's as they are so comfortable and use a biological soap sometimes but the dark colour remains. I suppose you could try darkening the whole insole with oil or something???It would help keep your heels soft  as well!!

  3. duh!!! you walk around in sandals! obviously dirt is going to get in!

  4. I've had the same problem and have cleaned them using the antiseptic wipes that you use for bathroom cleaning. It works!
