i have leather sofas and i wanted to know how to make a funky smell go away and smell good

Depending on what is causing the smell you may need to use an enzyme cleaner such as Em Clean to eradicate the smell from the leather.  This will kill any bacteria or mold that is present and could be casuing a smell.  You can also get leather aroma which will make the leather semll return

Check with your drycleaner and a furniture salesman. Each can tell you what to use.  There are numerous scented leather cleaners on the market.
