just think if a truck hits the skids behind you and you arent prepared to move away...

bit of a safety issue and theres just no point.

if could be unsafe and it really doesn't help that much.  your better off shutting it off in drivethrough fastfoods, a lot of gas wasted in those lines...

leave on, the starting-up of a car up burns more gas than it being idle.

you will use more gas re-starting the car, plus wear the starter out faster, and stand a chance of stalling.

leave on, you might save a dollar a month in gas but you will wreck your starter, a not so easy job and depending on your car a pricey fix.
