Leaves of tree for food?

Can you eat pine needles? What about leaves from other trees?

  1. I wouldn't try pine needles, but grape leaves are used a lot in Near Eastern cooking as edible wraps.

    And don't forget lettuce, spinach, cabbage and its relatives - all leaves.


  2. I'm not sure about pine needles. You could probably eat them, but they might not taste so great. You can eat sesame leaves... they're used to wrap Korean barbecue.
