Leaves on Pumpkin Plant turning yellow?

I have pumpkins planted this year and they seemed to be doing well. Then about a week ago, the leaves on started to turn yellow and it seems to be spreading. Small pumkins are turning yellow and falling off the vine.

Does anyone know what is causing this? I live in North Carolina.

I am having a similar problem in MI.  If fact our pickles are now dead, and that took about 2 days to happen!!  I have heard it is some sort of fungus, but what for sure or how to stop it, i haven't been able to find out!!
