Leaving cert Geography?

In short q's,when they ask for an example of an Administrative Region..What examples can you give??

I always thought an administrative region was an area that had some kind of council like Dublin's City Council

So Dublin would be one

Or any of the counties in Ireland I guess

Or the French Departments if you want one abroad
