Leaving cert honours Irish?

Anyone that's done it,the Stair na Gaeilge section...would you recommend doing the poets,or all the rest of the stair??

Well we never studied the poets so its not really an option for me. But I was listening to one of those RTE podcasts and they recommended studying the poets as far as I can remember.

My teacher says that you should leave out the poets.....theyre FAR to general and theres loads of them to learn

If the ones you study come up, thats great.....but its a long shot thats unlikely to pay off

im stickin with the rest of them....no poets! ;)

I left out the poets becuae you have to do enough peotry as it is. I concentrated on the rest i found the rest more interesting anyway.

I dont think my teacher even did the poetry in the Stair na Gaeilge section. You should to whatever you prefer it will be easier to learn and answer taht way. I liked An Rúraíocht agus An Fhiannaíocht best so i studied all that.
