I'm leaving for Miami on August 17th and I noticed that the weather forecast shows rain and thunderstorms all that week. I'm wondering if that's just passing rain and does it still get sunny enough to lay out on the beach??? Any info would be appreciated!!!

  1. Yeah, in the summer down here there is usually t-storms every afternoon. These usually don't last more than an hour at the most. There will definitly be sun, probably for the rest of the day. More than enough to lay out on the beach. Anyway, have fun.

  2. it's summer in South Florida. Expect a quick rainstorm every day around 3pm.

  3. Well, I don't want to rattle your cage, but...there's tropical activity brewing out east of us. The long-range "GUESS" is that it "MIGHT" be a problem for Florida area around August 17th-18th. Don't know what part of Florida or even if it will be a problem at all. So cross your fingers...it's hurricane season here.

Normally, just afternoon showers that come and go quickly. Plenty of sun in the morning and early afternoon.

    Bring flip-flops.
