Question:

Leaving grades behind & Transferring?

So I feel like a complete failure in these past 2 years at my college. My first year was relatively good, however, I hit rock bottom in my second year of college because of personal problems that managed to affect me greater than I thought. I read previous questions stating that it is possible to start FRESH at a new college however I have more in-detailed questions.

Will it be possible to only have certain grades/credits transferred? Like Pick and choose certain classes (The one's I got A's in) to avoid re-doing.

Upon completion of my Associates Degree can I only provide the new institution's transcripts, or am i required to show both? Can I get away with only showing the new one?

Thanks! I hope this can be a new start for me

  1. No, Im sorry but you can't pick and choose.  A transcript is a transcript.  It has everything on it.  Your only choices are to retake all of the classes that you got an A in, or bring the bad grades with you to your new school.  Good luck!
