So I contacted the seller and she was very rude...

Basically she said I took chances, and if I wanted to know if it was scratch I should have emailed her. She even wrote some sentences in CAPS, very rude! She has no ethics on selling, I feel bad, but my only option is leave negative feedback.

  1. If the item was not as described or not described as damaged then leave a negative feedback. If the seller was rude and not helpful that's what they deserve.

On a different note, Ebay is losing hundreds of sellers daily due to their ridiculous new seller feedback policy which makes me sick and disgusted. Who do they think is paying their bills, not the buyer!!! If they continue to jack the sellers around I hope they take a nose dive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. If the seller doesn't sell you what was offered, then you should leave negative feedback and the explanation why.

When you buy something, if it's not perfect, the listing should say such.  Don't feel bad about calling her out for poor behavior.

  3. I understand completely how you feel. I have a couple questions. First, did you pay with paypal? If so, I would file a complaint with paypal, and you should be able to get some of your money back, or be able to return it and get all your money back if that is what you want. Save the email the seller sent you. That is your proof of their behavior. I would not leave the negative feedback yet. Try to get some of your money back first. You can always leave the feedback later. If you do this right, you can get some or all of your money back (because like you said, you wouldn't have purchased anything like that have you known), so the auction was misleading and untruthful. Then I would leave the feadback to let others know about how they do business and how they ship. If you don't, they will continue to do that to others. Good luck.

  4. Do what you want.  It's not like she can leave you a neg. now...because eBay sucks like that now.

In my opinion she was wrong, BUT it really depends on your contact & communication between each other.  I have no clue what you said to her or she said to you.

Some people just write in caps a lot.    I'm a seller myself, and I try my HARDEST to make it right.  I don't appreciate the "new" feedback changes because I have gotten negs. just because the guy felt like being a tool AFTER I refunded his money AND let him keep the item also.

It really just depends.  If you tried all you can, then why not?  Just try not to s***w people on purpose..cause it really does suck to get an unfair.

Your case it doesn't seem unfair so....
