I was at home the other night and my mom came home drunk and crying. I tried to ask her what was wrong and she wouldn't respond but asked me for a cigarette and we went out back, i poured her and i a drink and we sat and talked. Talking went to arguing and then she decided to go inside and scream and hollar. Two of my three younger sisters were hysterically crying so i tried to console them. My mom demanded she was going to her boyfriends house but i wouldn't let her drive so i took her, against my better judgement. I came back home and asked my other sister to try and help me console the younger ones. She refused and i got pissed off. I settled my sisters down and started screaming at my other sister for not caring enough to help out her sisters. My mom and her boyfriend came home, both drunk, and he put me in a headlock. I begged and pleaded to call my father and he would not release me from the headlock. My sister called the police and they told him to let me go. I ran in the room where the cops were to get my cell phone to call my dad and the cop alleges i took a "swing" at him, his partner punched me in the throat and they cuffed and arrested me. The original cop and i talked for hours at the station, i was being charged with resisting arrest and underage drinking (my second underage). The officer said it wasn't that big of a deal and that it will all blow over and we had a very nice conversation for at least an hour. I spent the night in the holding cell of the police station where my father picked me up this morning. I was supposed to leave for school today, now i have three summons/citations against me and i don't know what to do.

  1. Notify the officer and the court you will be leaving for school.  It's possible they will reschedule any court date for when you are home on break.  Give them your contact info at the school.   You may have to come back home on the court date (hopefully school is not too far away).

Make sure your sisters make statements to the police, BTW.
