've been studying in the uk for the past 4 years, i've accumulate a debt amounting to nearly £30k (an unsecured loan of £25K from a bank £5K on credit cards and my wife got a debt of approx £2000(credit cards). we are still making our monthly payment on all of them.

It's all happen due to our our financial hardship( got a baby at the same time) and did not have any options apart from borrowing

we will have to go back home now as my visa been refused this time, it's going to be really hard.....almost impossible to repay this debt back home as our currency is quite low(£1=50 rupees).

our idea was not to escape those debts as i thought my visas would be granted for some more years but unfortunately.....

i just wanted to know if the bank which got my address in my home country gonna look for me as well as the credit cards company. may be through interpol..or something(don't know).after how long they normally start looking for you and if unsuccessful for how long they'll keep on trying

anyway,we are planning to go to australia(fingers crossed),if ever we manage to go over there, will they chase me for the debts over there?

Is there any reciprocal agreement between the uk and australia regading those matter.

If a ccj been issued, does it have the same legal power in australia?

from what i've learned on the web,the creditors won't have any legal power to sue me in australia is that true?

what is the do's and don'ts i need to know so that it's difficult to trace me.

(please don't get me wrong as i haven't got any options left)

thank you for taking time to read my message

hope to have some reply....as i'm very desperate for solutions

  1. Be honest,It will take a while to find the best answer for the your question.give a look at resource here for your reference .http://home-mortgage.online-tips4u.info/...

  2. Unless you get the court to declare you bankrupt, then there no way you a way going to a way with owing 32K, your best bet is let banks and the credit card company, know that your visa as been refused and you have got to leave the country, there is not much that they can do to you, but they might come up with some thing.

  3. Visa is payment processor only and not a credit card company? They have no interest in your debt. .

Funds to enter into Australia are only required if you don't have arranged employment?

Their are reciprocal agreements to enforce a UK CCJ in Australia but the chance's that a company will find you and serve the initial UK CCJ which they have to do; is slim...........

    Banks make enough money!

  4. to be honest i haven't got a clue but can you not declare bankruptcy??

  5. You will have difficulty being accepted by any other country as you will be classed as a thief for taking money and trying to leave without paying it back. That will follow you wherever you go.

  6. The banks and credit card companies will pursue this debts.  Perhaps you can apply for bankruptcy.

  7. The very first thing to clear up is you are NOT going to Australia, you have only debts and no capital, you will NOT get the qualifying points needed for a permanent entry visa. The ONLY way you can go to Australia is as a tourist for up to a year and you will not be allowed to work there. You will also need return tickets and to take with you enough money to fund your length of stay.

Australia does not want no hopers like you any more than the UK does!

The major credit card companies like Visa etc are international.

  8. You should be ashamed of yourself; there is no excuse for building up such a debt. Then to consider not paying and skipping the country, that’s despicable. No doubt you child was born with the help of the NHS, you got free medical treatment together with your wife. You had no right having children if you could not support it you had no right having a wife if you could  not support her. What troubles you have, have arisen by you own irresponsible acts. I hope your creditors chase you wherever you go, I hope they contact the educational institution you attended, particularly those whom you hope will give you reference. What you are proposing amounts to theft, not something that you would want on your CV, but it will appear on your credit rating forever. You will need more that your fingers crossed to get into Australia, since aspiring immigrants have to be free of a criminal record. To the credit of Australian Immigration they actively seek information from the police in the countries in which you have resided, it is a similar procedure   when it come to credit rating. You’re not going anywhere except to jail and deservedly so. You are a scrounger of the worst order, a freeloader without conscious. You bring shame to your wife, your child, yourself and your parents. Get back to the country from whence you came, we are well rid of those whose  integrity is as low as yours. The only bright spot is that we will never have to see you back in the is counrty again.Away with you now! .
