Leaway Fitz likely to win Owners’ Bonus Series (Heat 2)
Leaway Fitz looks to be the strongest candidate for the ace title of Owners’ Bonus Series – Heat 2 as the M. Wiley-trained black dog has been delivering impressive performances since the dawn of the calendar year.
The Grade A4 race over a distance of 400 meters is scheduled to take place at Romford track on Wednesday night, May 9. The action will begin at 21:09 (GMT).
For the prize cheque of £112, Leaway Fitz will show his guts against Out At Dusk, Regal Duke, Quivers Tweet, Path Of Glory and Capel Spiderman.
The six-year-old veteran hound owns a terrific track record. During the last couple of months, the dashing dog accomplished some glaring feats. After winning two races and finishing as a runner-up in one contest during March, the talented hound moved on to achieve three consecutive runner-up ranks in April.
The brilliant son of Droopys Woods out of Sensational excellently claimed top spot in his last outing on May 5.
Though Leaway Fitz has not earned a favourite tag for the Heat but he will easily be able to dominate his competitors, having as high as 90 percent chances to finish first.
Among the other runners, Path Of Glory and Regal Duke are also likely to do well in the race as each of duo seems to be strong enough on the card.
Path Of Glory is carrying immense winning impetus at the moment. After winning a race in February 2012, the D. Mullins-trained brindle dog went on to achieve two classic triumphs during March. The two-year-old novice runner bagged a victory along with a runner-up rank in the month of April.
On the other hand, Regal Duke has grained two magnificent triumphs since the beginning of 2012. After winning a big race by the margin of 5 ½ lengths on February 28, the A. Ingram-trained black dog elegantly finished first in his last outing on May 3.
In this situation, a fierce battle is expected in the race. However, Leaway Fitz will be able to make his way towards victory convincingly. Let us enjoy an amazing action tonight. Good luck to all the contestants.
