  1. Get a grip its more than fair, that's one women too many on the council

  2. ask yourself how many females worked toward becoming ministers??

things dont come on a silver platter

  3. no i dont think it's fair at all!

no i dont think it's fair at all!

  4. no i dont think it's fair at all!

i think lebanon still live in a very strong patriarchal society. my female cousins who hav the best uni degrees took years to find a reasonable job, whereas my male cousins who have the least important degrees got a job in a second

so i think it's very unfair..and i'm pretty sure there were a lot of women wanting to be ministers, not just that one woman.

  5. It is unfair but that's the way it is in some countries... If the very citizens have nothing against it, then why would we? It is their country, their rules...

  6. It depends if it is systematic or if it just happened.

A liberal country like Lebanon would be less prone to having a systematic ideology of excluding women based on their gender, at least compared to the region.

The question I always like to ask, would the above inquiry have been put had it been say 20 women vs. 10 men in the cabinet ?

Wa ma hada ahsan min hada.

    Regards,

  7. in Sweden 50% of the government are female ministers...

but we in the middle east are not so modern...even in the democarit israel there are only few womens in the government... somthing like 10% :\

dony worry...maybe more women will join to the govenment in the future

  8. If there are capable women who want the jobs they should be there ...maybe then there might be a level of sanity to Lebanese politics.

Ghanouge has only just arrived .....conscript her !
