http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Igor-Lebedenko-c16722 has expressed his delight after winning the latest Russian Premier League tie 2-0 against Volga and commented on
Ezechiel N’Douassel’s arrival at Terek Grozny.
Terek Grozny winger, Igor Lebedenko, has assured the fans of hard work to maintain their decent run after claiming their second win of the ongoing Russian Premier League campaign.
The Chechens managed to claim a 1-0 win against FC Krasnodar prior to their 5-0 defeat against Alania Vladikavkaz earlier this month.
The 29-year-old winger-c*m-forward, who scored both the goals for the Chechens, has expressed his satisfaction over his performances after securing the victory against the Volgari.
However, Lebedenko was not ready to take all the credit for the win, insisting that the team played quality football the entire 90 minutes. The Nohchi have now moved up to the fifth spot on the league table.
“Indeed, managed to score two goals and I am very pleased. I got the break through after a well-taken corner by Rybus. Mitrishev gave me the second goal, after forcing the defending to make a mistake.”
“Perhaps the content of the game was not as good as we would have liked but a win is always the most important thing. In such weather it was difficult to play: it was stifled and we quickly tired.”
“It’s easier to operate on the flanks. However, I'm ready to play where you want the team.” The former Lokomotiv Moscow player was quoted as saying.
Terek will now play the upcoming match against Dynamo Moscow at Arena Khimki on the coming Sunday. Lebedenko has admitted that this is the best time to face the Moscow-based club as they are struggling with form, having failed
to claim a win since the start of the championship.
When asked about Ezechiel N’Douassel’s signing during the ongoing summer transfer window, the former Saturn Moscow Oblast player has admitted that the Chechens have brought in a quality player.
N’Douassel joined the Russian outfit from Africain after signing a four-year contract.
Lebedenko expressed his desire to play alongside the Chadian striker, who has scored 11 goals in 28 games last season.
