Lebers patient from Australia,?

my son is 20 yrs old dxd with lebers in 2006, just seeing if there is a online support for peoples in Australia that has this disease, as i have not been able to contact any Australians with the same gene error as my son and would be great for him to contact others with the same problem, any contact would be very grateful, Karen

There does not seem to be any support group anywhere in the world for Leber's optic neuropathy, but I did manage to find an email address for a 'Leber's Hereditary Optic Neuropathy Trust' in the UK that may be of some help:

I suggest talking to your neuroophthalmologist, they may know another person with the condition so you could make contact.
