Lebron James changes future of NBA players
This NBA season provided us not only with entertaining finals. The finals this year were without a doubt the best in NBA history. The Lakers showed composure and strength by winning the last three games to secure the title. But the main question in the NBA was that where would Lebron James go?
When he announced that he was moving to Miami Heat, he not only broke the hearts of the Cleveland fans but created a potential Hall of Fame trio with Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade. This has set a new trend for the players who are planning to move and this is the reason why players like Carmelo Anthony are being offered contracts. After this, we shall discuss the next big names who would want to opt for the same team and be a part of a dynasty.
Carmelo Anthony is one of the most obvious players to leave his current team and join a team where he will enjoy a more luxurious duo or trio with players so that as to contend for the NBA title. He will be leaving the Denver Nuggets who had a poor season by finishing worse than the Cavs. Though Denver also had players like Allen Iverson and Billups, but they weren’t able to convert this team into a winning combination.
Danny Granger is one of the future prospects. He is an outstanding player and the next Lebron type player in the NBA. Granger can rebound, block and steal. He is likely to join teams like Chicago or New York if he moves. There is a 69% chance that he will leave his current Indiana team.
The next player is O.J. Mayo and sadly for the fans of Memphis, he is not going to stay there forever. He is expected to move to Los Angeles and play for the Clippers or with the Lakers. With the player of his calibre he can also join teams like Spurs or Houston to form a winning combination.
Brandon Jennings showed everybody that he is an upcoming superstar. He managed to score 55 in the early part of the season and that put everyone on high alert. He is a superstar in the making and would surely realize that in the future he is destined to be a part of a duo or trio winning combination. The chances of leaving, his current Milwaukee team are 50%.
Kevin Durant issued a statement saying it’s time we play and put up some competition. He is one of the anti- Lebron group members. Kevin Garnett also said that “annything is possible”. The chances that Kevin leaves Oklahoma are 44%.
Another player to watch out for the future is Tyreke Evans. Evans would love to win the MVP award and also the NBA title with big teams. Teams like Sacramento have lost big names but the chances of Evans going there are also slim. There is a 33% chance that he will move from his current side.
Brandon Roy is another player to look out for. His future however depends on the fact that if Chris Paul is traded to Trail Blazers or not. In case he is then Brandon Roy would stay. He signed a four year deal with an optional fifth in 2009. This is the main obstacle between him and the pursuit of a dynasty. Dynasties like Lebron James, Bosh and Wade have formed.
The last name in the list is possibly the biggest of them all, John Wall. With all said and done Wall is expected to be one of the best players in the league without a doubt. He was picked by Washington in the first overall pick in this year’s draft. This 19 year old is looking to a 20 year career ahead of him and possible glory by joining big teams and players in future. The chances of him leaving are 25%.
