Led underside of car as brake light?

i just bought a 30" led strip to use as brake lights under my car. i just need to know how to hook these up to the other brake lights so that they only go on when i press the brake.

Depends on the car...

If your car has seperate turn signal lights on the rear you can simply connect the strip to either brake light.

If your brake lights and signals are the same bulb, then connect the strip to your 3rd (middle) brake light.

Don't have one? Run the power wire to your brake switch on the brake pedal, that is a common circuit location before power is split to go to each side of the car. You can connect the strip to the brake switch and the strip will illuminate when you only hit the brakes.
