The Argentinean-born Italian has been linked with a move from Manchester City, but his representative maintains that Walter Mazzarri is keen on keeping the midfielder in Naples.

The Biancocelesti playmaker’s representative stated that it is not the first time that the midfielder has been linked with a move from a big club, but insisted that the 29-year-old has a special affiliation with the capital outfit.
Ledesma’s spokesperson stated that the Lazio midfielder can be expected to stay at the Italian capital for the rest of his playing career.

D’Ippolito added that there is little chance that Gargano will be able to part company with the Azzurri.
“Gargano? The decision to keep Mazzarri means that it is now very unlikely that Gargano could move on. He’s vital for the Azzurri. I’m 99.9 per cent sure that he’ll remain.”
Ledesma scored three goals in the 37 appearances for Lazio in the 2011-12 campaign, while Gargano netted twice in the 33 Serie A appearances for Napoli in their latest season.
