Lee-Anne Pace set to overcome Irish Open’s misery at the Ladies British Masters
It appears that Lee-Anne Pace is shaken by her performance in the recent Ladies Irish Open. She is now looking forward to the Ladies British Masters as an opportunity to improve her record of the year.
For a player of Pace’s standard, Ladies Irish Open was a huge disappointment. It is not often that the South African star misses the cut.
She was very disappointed by her game and now sees the upcoming Ladies British Masters as a way of improving her position on international rankings and the money list.
Pace played a really unimpressive game at the Ladies Irish Open. She finished the first round with a score of 3-over-par 75. She shot three birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey (on the 16th hole).
However, this was not her worst score in the Ladies Irish Open. The next round was a 6-over par 78. She scored three birdies, four bogeys and two disheartening double bogeys on holes 16 and 17.  Her score at this point was 153. She missed the cut which was
set at 151 strokes.
Pace has been performing well before this event. She scored 280 points in the Evian Masters and stood 16th in the final rankings.
Before that she played in the South African Women's Open and finished the tournament in the second place, her best so far.
Many experts are at loss to explain her most recent poor performance. They ignored the first round as Pace usually plays a dull game in the first round.
However, they really started to worry in the second round, as she continued to pile up bogeys. This was the time when many feared that she might miss the cut.
However, Pace is now determined for a good score in the Ladies British Masters. Her performance at Killeen Castle has certainly motivated her.
Pace played in the last year’s Ladies British Masters and it was another uninspiring performance. She missed the cut there as well and was placed in the 94th spot. This time around, she has the Ladies Irish Open to motivate her. Fans are hopeful
that Pace will recover her form.
