The major opponents of Chong Wei in the Super Series Finals will be China’s Lin Dan and Chen Long, both are placed at number two and three respectively in the world rankings.
However, the top seed’s main focus is to play without taking pressure and to avoid injuries until the next year’s Olympic Games.

Chong Wei has also been selected as the Male Player of the Year in via voting from all over the world conducted by the Badminton World Federation (BWF). He collected 34% votes from his fans throughout the planer and the second highest shuttler in this pole

Besides Chong Wei, Malaysia’s Men’s Doubles top pair of Tan Boon Heong and Koo Kien Keat will also put up strong show in the 2012 Olympic Games, which will take place in London next year.
