Lee Middleton Collectors?

Question

I have a newborn nursery doll and I love it to death! The only thing is-- the eyelashes from the left eye keep falling out! Whenever they do so, I take elmer's glue and a toothpick and try and get them back in. After I glue them in they obviously look better, but they still of course don't look the same as the other eye. Did/Does anyone have this same problem?! What do you do to get it permanently fixed!?!
