The elbow swelled up so much overnight that Lee, a former Knick, received antibiotics at a Chicago hospital on Thursday and missed Golden State’s game against the Bulls  that night. On Friday, the Warriors announced that Lee had returned to Oakland to have surgery Friday night for the infected elbow.The team did not say how long Lee would be out, leaving his status for next Friday’s rematch with the Knicks on the West Coast unclear.
