Leeds Carnegie's Danny Paul to return within three weeks
Leeds Carnegie has reported that influential number eight Danny Paul should be back playing inside three weeks.
Paul damaged his ribs 20 minutes into the 48-6 defeat at the hands of Leicester. This news will be a huge lift to Paul because he picked up the injury during his first start for the club in over a year.
"Thankful it's not as serious as we thought. He'll be back in time for the next Premiership games in three weeks. Due to the number of injuries we have this is a good time to have a break from the Premiership
and get some players back on their feet," said head coach Neil Back to BBC Radio Leeds.
This news is going to have a very positive effect on Paul's game when he does return to the side. However, the club must be careful not to put him back into the team prematurely.

The mental side of Paul's game will be very strong once he is back in the side. He suffered a shoulder injury that stopped him from playing in a large part of last season.
He may have feared that he would be out of action for another lengthy spell with this knock. However, the fact that the news is positive means that Paul will be chomping at the bit to create havoc and
score points against opposition teams.
The news is also a big boost for Back and Leeds because Paul is one of the more important players in the club. A number eight is crucial in keeping all sections of a team linked together. The club doesn't
have another player more effective at doing this.
Leeds must resist any temptation to throw him back into the team before he's ready. This risks making the injury worse and keeping the player out for longer.
