question on left handed and right handed pitchers .if a left handed pitcher was in the game do they pitch on the left hand side or right hand side when facing a batter and same with right hand pitchers do they pitch on the right hand side or left hand side when facing a batter

when a lefty pitcher is on the mound and facing home plate, he pitches on the left side (uses his left arm)

a righty pitches on the right side when facing the batter.
