today my left arm started to feel really weird towards the end of the day. it's tingly and numb and feels like either a nerve is pinched or like there's something wrong with a vein. it's mainly in my upper arm and nothing i can do is making it feel any better.... it's so weird and numb! anyone know what this may be?

i'm 20, just quit smoking, female, not on meds.... i have no idea.

  1. It might be because you just quit smoking (congrats by the way). Just a nervous system reaction?

Have you been very laid back these days? If you're not active much, it might just be because the lack of blood circulation. Try getting outside for a run/walk or to the gym for a short exercise.

Make sure you drink plenty of water.

Are you stressed at all? Try finding out why and avoiding what makes you stressed

  2. Sounds like exactly what you said - either a pinched nerve or a circulation problem.  If the skin under your fingernails is bluish, get to a doctor or ER right away.  If not, you might wait a day or so, but I'd definitely see a doctor about it.  Hope you're ok - good luck.
