  1. I don't think being left handed has anything to do with it.  I'm left handed!

My tip for you is just keeping on trying...like how you learned to do the volley and bump.

    Practice makes perfect!

  2. Here's what I tell every body else, What I do is I just practice practice practice. It helps if you use your wall and throw the ball at it then after that throw it on the ground hard over and over again for warm-ups. when your done practicing... over hand serving on to your roof. Every time you get it on take a small step back till you get to about the size of half the volleyball court and practice from there. It also helps if you stand with your right foot (if your going to hit the ball with your right hand) a little bit in-front of your left and your feet should about shoulders length apart and before you throw the ball up in the air your weight should be on your left foot and as you go to hit it switch to your right foot.

  3. Congrats on making JV!

so you want to have your left foot foward a little with the ball off of your right shoulder. You want toss the ball about 5-6 feet above your head so its easy to time. Keep your hand big and open also your wrist nice and firm. you want to contact the ball with your arm full extended stepping with your right foot just after your toss or whenever feels confortable. that should help you! haha im a right handed server and i was like standing up and like pretending i was left handed so this is correct! i hope it helped and have a good season!
