Left rib, different pains? someone help with KNOWLEDGE?

Question

recently like every day or every other day now, whenever i would inhale, or exhale, my left rib would have a sharp pain for like 3 mintues. i know it's a gas bubble or something but is it supposed to happen so frequently?

+this past week when i'm sitting down i would feel discomfort in the same area. not a sharp pain like I described up there^ but just a discomfort hard to explain. but it feels like i have to rub it

what could this be?

if you are not aware of any bangs recently onto your ribs or even on your back because these would radiate to your front too the pain should be a trapped air bubble which I know sounds brutal but someone needs to slap your back not your front to see it it can be burst have you been checked for and infection either in your chest or surrounding  areas i would advise you see your dr who can have a listen with their stethoscope  please get it looked at it could also be a pulled muscle be dr will help best good luck x
