Left rib & abdominal pain???

Question

i hav rib pain and left abdominal pain.....my abdomin n ribs hurt like wen ure running and it hurts cuz u dont strech or sometin but it hurts me wen im walking!! it hurts only my ribs and upper left abdominal but ive notice dat wen i inhale air in and hold it it doesnt hurt.....can anyone tell me wats wrong??? and i hav occasional pain in my middle & lower left abdominals its not as bad as my rib pain its actually pretty weak but y does it still hurt??

I am not sure what it is , but when I was younger I use to get all the time and I am 57 years old today and it hasn't killed me yet . I think it could be that the our lung capacity is smaller then some other people and that is why we get pain . I wouldn't  really worry about it but for your own satisfaction just get it check by a pulmonary specialist and see what he says . Good luck and have a great day .
