Left side of the stomach is causing pain?

i believe the pain, very sharp pain, is coming from one of my female eggs. The pain comes and goes but leaves me in great discomfort. Is there anything i can do to prevent it? it just started a couple of hours ago but incase it doesnt stop soon, is there anything like a massage or warm water, bath to make the pain go away :) thank you

You can try something like Advil or Ibuprofen (over the counter medicines) to see if that helps but because of how severe it is I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation.  They can give medications like Ponstel (a prescription anti-inflammatory, I've used it before and had good results) to try and help ease some of the pain.
