Take iran for example. Their philosophy is to just do leave iran alone and we'll do what ever they want to make them happy, and everyone will get along. Say, they get a nuclear weapon and start causing trouble, maybe even bombed some country. I bet They would still try to "talk with them"

Now, i dont think we should just go around ivading people, like bush. But the democrats wouldnt even defend themselves.

If they were in control during hitlers reign, they would have let him take control of the world.

I see from some of the answers that there are people who believe Ahmadinejad wants to enrich uranium so he can produce electricity.

Maybe I'm wrong, but doesn't this seem somewhat like Eskimos trying to buy ice cubes? I mean, isn't Iran literally floating on oil?

It is simply idealistic to think that we can negotiate with terrorists - their own government can't even negotiate with them, what possible logic indicates that we infidels could?

This is what happens when people get all their news from right wing talk radio.

If you had been paying attention in school you'd know that the president who fought Hitler was FDR, probably the most liberal president we have ever had.

The fact is Iran doesn't threaten us. They are making nuclear fuel for the nuclear powerplants WE SOLD THEM.  They have consented to an international team of inspectors.  Even if they wanted to make a nuke, they couldn't for ten years, and things will be completely different then.  They don't want to invade us, and with their fourth-rate military they know they wouldn't have a chance if they did.  They only want us to leave them alone.

President Bush likes to saber-rattle against Iran because he blames them for his failure in Iraq.  But even Bush realizes he is powerless against Iran.  We couldn't even successfully occupy Iraq, which is much smaller.  That's why even Bush has broken down and is sending an envoy to try diplomacy.  We should ALWAYS try diplomacy first.

The Dems were in control during JFK's time and they fought in Vietnam.

But you figure it would be different today.
