Leg Injury?

About two weeks ago I think I hurt my leg... and it still hurts. I was trying to train for a triathlon and I think I over did it. So I was swimming/biking/running a whole lot. The pain is like third of the way up my calf from my ankle. It is like sort of more towards the back of the leg. Sometimes it feels like it is just radiating pain after I walk a lot or do weird things. I basically stopped running and biking once I injured it... I just don't know what to do... should I go to a doctor or just wait it out. I can walk and stuff... not really run/bike. I've still been swimming a bit. ug. this is really annoying- I don't think I can do my tri now. grr. Any suggestions? I'm sort of desperate. okay- I think that is all. Thanks people!

  1. Injuries suck, but the worse kind is one that lingers.  Most athletes will sympathize, but tell you to let your body heal.  I would visit the doctor just to make sure it's nothing serious (doesn't sound too bad).  If swimming doesn't aggravate it, go for it.  Good luck!
