  1. what are  you, a compulsive runner?  take it easy before you do permanent damage

  2. You should not exercise. Stretch often, walk slowly, and if you have access to a pool then do some slow swimming and stretching in the pool. Eat lots of protein to speed recovery, and gatorade to restore your muscles.

If your leg still hurts then do not try to run hard on it- you will only hurt yourself. I have run 4 marathons, and countless half marathons- time is the only real way to recover!

    Good luck.

  3. Marathons are 26.2 miles. If you did any less, you did not run a marathon. For every mile raced, it takes a day to recover. You should not be racing so soon after a marathon.

It depends. Are you sore or do you hurt. There is a difference. Pain indicates injury. If you're injured, take time off. If you're sore, you can ice your legs and what not.
