  1. You can take a warm, Epsom salt, bath or an ice bath

  2. icy hot

    or a hot bath

    maybe stretching

  3. ...

It's hard to say what's happening.  Could it be an irritated growth plate?  Or worse, a fractured growth plate?  A muscle strain?  Or?

Typically, the first steps in dealing with pain is to rest, provide heat, massage.  It may take a few days of doing nothing to irritate the pained area for the irritation to subside.  However, this "rest time" may include doing some cross-training as long as the cross-training does not further irritate the pained area.

After rest, typically, the next step is to test it by returning to running.

If the pain continues, again rest and test.

And if you return, finally, and no pain, then great!

But unless you have a lot of experience with aches and pains, which really comes only with time and experience, you can't go with self-treatments.  You've got to go to a medical professional who has a sports-related practice.

    Regards,

    Phil

  4. i am not sure what it is but, i would figure to stretch it before and after really well.  before you start make sure you do a light warm up and cool down after you finish.  If the pain is really bad, take a  pain reliver or ice it.

  5. It's probably just sore just maybe take an epson salt bath, have some pain reliever, stretch it out easily, and use some ice. It will go away.

  6. icy hot lolz or sum bengay

  7. When it happens try to get to a sports injury clinic Cambridgeshire has a sports clinic in Addenbrookes so checkm out your hospital if you have a rugby club or something of that kind find out who their physio ia and go to him as an alternative it's quite simple your body is telling you something is wrong and needs sorting out
