Leg pain when running?

..So, when i run, my hamstring hurts. It's been hurting like that when I run for the last few months. I think I may have sprained or pulled it in gym class running the timed mile. Is there any way I can heal it?

  1. It sounds like you strained or pulled the muscle.

    Massage,and gently stretch the muscle, do not over stretch it.

    Use ice after running.

    You can wrap the leg before running or use a compression sleeve.

    A pull should heal in a couple of weeks.

    You may have adhesion's or scar tissue which you can break up with massage.


  2. the only way to heal it is to stretch it before running. and stop running for a while..

    just rest it and it will be fine.

    but take as long as it takes cuz if you dont take long enough you might hurt it more then before.

  3. i did the same thing. i feel ur pain just do hamstring streches the 1s that look like a flamingo or lay on the floor and do the same thing only mnove ur foot 2 the side so u dont crush ur foot try these and rest good luck
