how do you build up strength in the back of your leg?

like around your thigh but the back of your leg

for doing stuff like holding your leg at 90 degrees

also how do you lift with the muscles in the back of your

leg?

  1. To be able to hold your legs at 90 degrees, try to hold them there, as high as you can go, even if it is only at 30 degrees.  Hold each leg there for a certain amount of time (and do it multiple times).  Each day you will find you can hold your leg up a little higher than the day before.  To lift with the muscles in the back of your leg, (im not sure exactly what you mean but ill try) do the same thing but instead hold your leg behind you rather than in front of you.  Also during all of these exercises, keep your hips parallel to the ground, don't lift or twist them.
