Leg toning exercises?

I would like to get my quads and hamstrings in very good shape for the fall volleyball season...any tips or good ideas that could strengthen them and tone them

    iso push-ups

    rushans

    thats what we have to do at my school


  2. you can do frog jumps bunny hops with straight legs and your can do like 10 standing straight jumps and 10 stand tuck jumps. hop on one leg and do the other one. you can even do toe touches to build up your calves. go to a wall and put your back on the wall and walk your feet like 2 feet in front of you and hold it for like 30 seconds and repeat for as many times as you want.

    burpese- do a crunch, jump up to block then do a push up, and repeat the pattern works everything!

    lunges- across the floor, those realllly work ur quads

    ladders- u could lay some tape down so it looks like a ladder. [this might sound a bit confusing] jump outside the ladder then inside the ladder making ur way up the ladder. another one u could do is go "outside inside" u do this by right foot out, then left foot out, then right foot inside the ladder square, then left foot inside the laddar square. [confusing, i kno, but idk how else to tell u how to do it w/o showing u lol] repeat that. do it fast too, keeps u moving and works inside and outside of ur thighs

    jumping- do some jumping on one foot, then the other foot. do some block jumps. works ur calves and quads. itll help u jump higher too.

    wall sits- works ur quads

    mountain climber- get on all fours, and jump pretend ur climbing a mountain with ur legs. hope that makes sense- works ur whole legs

    frogs: crouch down w/ hands on ground. Jump up and kick ur behind go back down(touch ground) and go again. try like 10 in a row....w/out a break.

    Leaning Towers: go down so one leg is bent (all your weight in this leg) and your other leg perfectly straight. then (w/out hands) go over to the other leg while staying low 2 the ground.

    srry cant describe 2 welll.  Also stay in ready position 4 (@ first) 45 secs. work your way up & stay on your toes.

    Also running laps w/ high knees the back kicking. Also laps w/ shuffles....

    Do the quads, hamstrings and calves routines simultaneously, 3-4 time sper week for 10-15 mins per session.

    You'll sculpt a pair of legs that's stronger in forms and shapelier in shapes....
