Leg workouts without using weights???

Is there any way that i could increase my leg muscles without lifting weights? any exercises that could help? I'm a soccer goalie and a trainer suggested leg exercises to increase how far i can kick the ball.

  1. lunges! they will definatly work out your legs.


  2. Swim. Even if you´re in a workout routine.

    Swimming will just increase your body´s

    strenght by so much.

    To test it do push ups, etc.

    If just for legs to Squats, Calf Caises, Lunges, Frog Jumping.

    This without any equipment. Then try to increase

    the number of times you can do each.

    The exercises i just named will workout every muscle in your leg.

    If you wanna make it tuffer use milk jugs filled with sand

    and hold it with your hands on your chest while doing squats, calf raises.

  3. Exercises done without weights are body weight exercises.

    Lunges, squats, bounds, skips, jumps off of one or two feet.

    There are lots of plyometric exercises that increase the power of your legs.

    Running up stadium bleachers or stairs.

    How far you kick the ball is only partly due to leg strength, it is technique and timing.

    How much speed can you generate at ball contact.
