Legacy Tree Genealogy--Have you used their genealogical service? Were you satisfied with results?

I am talking about their service of providing a professional genealogist for $600, not their software programs.

Why do you need a professional Genealogist?

Most you can do yourself for free.

Try your public Library.

I have mine back to 1700's never paid a dime, except for copies... Midwest Genealogy Center now open in Kansas City, is a great resource for research!

Also your own public library probably has a genealogy branch or section.. check with them they will know. I have seen people pay and it was proven all wrong later....

I've never heard of it but, there are loads of resources on the internet that make searching your family tree yourself possible.  Some are free and some have a membership fee.  Here are a few sites;
