Legal Age of Consent?

Question

If the legal age of consent is 16, can an 18 year old be charged with rape, or any other kind of legal action, even if the 16 year old consented to the s*x? Or would the 18 year old be charged with rape because he/she is legally considered an adult and the 16 year old is legally considered a minor?

If the age of consent is 16, then that is the age of consent.  If it is 18, the 18 year old boy can be charged for having s*x with you at 16.

edit:  Parents cannot consent to a violation of state law.  They could not give you permission, and if they did, they would be violating several laws.
