How much of the six million pounds costs will Fayed pay?

Why should the tax payer foot this bill,? It was he who brought the case to court. Thank God it is now over and the passing of this lady can be left in peace and especially for her sons.

  1. Who has really any proof  that Princess Diana wasn't killed by the royal establishment? no one. And believe me the royal family has got many skeletons in their royal cupboard.

  2. I am very sorry for Fayed as his son is dead

You are correct about the El part

Any time there is a death the reason HAS to be found --or there would be a lot less mother in laws (sorry)

If the Royal family could go after some one why didn't the go for Mrs. Simpson?--things were *a lot* different then.

I do not understand how it could of been premeditated as no one know when Di and Dodi would leave

  3. I am afraid you have it ALL wrong. A coroners inquest is not brought by an individual. Al Fayed may have wanted it but the coroner decided to have this inquest under the Coroners Act 1988. Section 8 is where you want to be looking.

I am not having a go but you really need to be aware of the laws in your country before slinging accusations around.

  4. al fayed did not bring the case to court, an inquest is a legal procedure that happens when someone dies suddenly in an accident. if you or i died in the same circumstances as diana did there would be an inquest. this one took so long to happen because of all the ongoing enquiries in france etc, there is nothing unusual about having an inquest and al fayed had no power to make it happen or even to stopit from happening, all he did was create such a fuss that the details were made public.
