Legal Legacy heading for a hat trick in the Freebets.Co.UK Handicap at Folkestone
The Class 4 Freebets.Co.UK Handicap will be hosted by Folkestone over seven furlongs on Wednesday, 30th May. Competing for the £4,528 prize money is a line-up of nine four-year and older runners. Not every entry has the experience of racing at
the venue before and there are also some who will race their seasonal debut through the race today.
Legal Legacy, Beat Hollow’s six-year-old chestnut gelding out of mare, Dans Delight, has already raced ten times during the new season and could only post victories through the two most recent outings.
He rolled into the season on 18th January in the Back Or Lay At Betdaq.Com Handicap (London Mile Qualifier) at Kempton over a mile. He scored a decent second after striding through the length by which the winner, Prince Of Burma, led.
Concluding the race third was Big Bay while the joint favourites ended seventh and tenth on the field of twelve.
The six-year-old remained winless in the next seven starts and then eventually won back to back.
Richard Rowe’s under charge won the Betfred “Double Delight” Classified Claiming Stakes on 16th May at Lingfield over a mile. Riding with Kirsty Milczarek, the 5/2 favourite of the race led the runner up, Marvo, by ¾ of a length.
Finishing third in line behind the winner was Aquilifer.
He paired up wins by striking the Mail Publisher Solutions Claiming Stakes on 23rd May at Lingfield over seven furlongs. The winner cornered the 9/4 favourite runner up of the race, Red Somerset, into the runner up’s slot while escaping defeat
by just half a length.
For the second time in a row, finishing third behind Legal Legacy was Aquilifer.
He has not raced at Folkestone before and is going to test his ability there for the first time and along with that he is heading in for a hat trick.
He will need to look out for Kingswinford as the six-year-old has bagged his seasonal debut in the Live Pool Information At Totepool.Com Handicap on 5th April at Folkestone over six furlongs.
He swept past the ½ favourite of the race, Seeking Magic, by a mere nose’s difference while riding with Cathy Gannon.
He has raced just twice during the season and the second start was neither a win nor was it at Folkestone.
