Question:

Legal advice for MA driving laws?

A friend who is 17 was driving me and got pulled over by a state cop. The statie said that he was going 100 in a 55 mph zone, and therefore will face speeding charges along with driving to endanger because of an unsafe lane change. The cop also said he would put in a request to the dmv to get his license revoked, and he will have to appear at a court hearing. What's the worst that could happen/the best that could happen? Any advice I can give him?

  1. That is almost double the speed limit... worst would be several hundred dollars and a license revocation. Best case is probably not much better.
