Question:

Legal age to be moving out?!?

I don't understand why BC has the highest age to legally move out than any other province - 19. Do you think they might change it? Does anyone know any particular reasoning to it? Maybe an article explaining it, maybe some random statistics about it or something.

  1. I agree this is weird.  I live in Saskatchewan but just moved here from the U.S. (North Carolina) and you had to be 18 unless you had legal emancipation or parental permission.  Perhaps it's higher in BC because 19 is also the drinking age? IDK, it's just speculation, so 19 does seem a little odd to me.

  2. Someone told you wrong,if your in the good old USA, 18 is the day your an adult. That is in all upper and lower 50.
