Legal alternative to lime wire and itunes?

Question

So, sometimes there are songs I want that arent on itunes. And I dont want to go out and pay for a CD when I only want one song. But if I dont have to download lime wire, or anything else illegal, then I dont want to. The thing is, I'm wondering if there even is an alternative? I want these songs on my ipod, not just to listen to on youtube while I'm at the computer.

I don't know if it will work on iPod, but spiralfrog.com is free AND legal, and has a lot of good songs on there. Good luck!

If you're looking for more "indie" songs, try either Best Buy Digital Music Store, or eMusic. They have a lot more random songs that other places don't.

i don't think that's really possible without having to search EVERYWHERE for the songs that you want. the only thing that i can suggest to you is to download this program:

http://atube-catcher.dsnetwb.com/get-vid...

when you open the program, you paste the url of the youtube video you want the song from and  you select output: mp3.
